I got a real feel of the classroom experience today. Mr Stevens my Supervising teacher is a great model for any student teacher to learn under. He has excellent classroom management skills. I think I will learn a great deal from his style. This week is going to be out of the ordinary because he is doing a writing piece for portfolios. The writing is a informative piece on the subject of China( they just finished a unit on China). So most of this week is going to be in the computer lab researching information for the piece. I assisted in the lab helping answer questions when I could. The students were coming up with some really good topics for their pieces. I am curious to see how they end up.
