Today was quiet and a bit subdued. I started the day with planning and got a call from the principal to get a work packet together to take to a student who would be serving in ISS (In school suspension). The rest of the day was fairly uneventful. The morning went by fairly quickly. The students were writing their first drafts of their information piece about China, so the day was fairly quiet , with the only interaction was answering questions about the writings. Next week should get more interesting when we get into a new chapter and actually start a lesson to get the feel of the classroom experience. I can't wait.
Eric, thanks for your blog - I am getting a fair picture of what your classroom is like. I assess your work at 7/10 this week because I don't see reflections about readings with connections to your classroom.
