Today I video taped my lesson to send to Dr. Gibson. I taught it to my 2nd period class to get the bugs worked out of it. I was then ready to record it in 3rd period. I went through all the procedures, pressenting it to the best of my ability, and when I fisnished my ST had realized that we had not recorded anything. Instead of hitting "record" he had hit the pause button, and we got nothing. Well back to the drawing board. I did get it recorded in 5th period with no problems. After I viewed the tape I could see all my flaws. It is so embarassing to see and hear yourself on camera. I could hear all of my UHs and AHs, and my hesitations that Dr. Gibson had told me about in her previous observation. I really learned a great deal by seeing and hearing myself on tape. I can see where I need to improve as a presenter in the classroom. I think I will get better with more and more practice.
