Today was mostley review for the test tomorrow. We went through some review sheets to get ready for the test. I pointed out some things that they would need to know for the test. My supervising teacher is not going to be there tomorrow, he is getting a sub I am giving the test so their shouldn't be to much that will come up that I can't handle. In the reading this week it talked about behavior modification, which is extinguishing the unwanted behavior while reinforcing the desired behavior. I realized that I already do that to some extent with my children at home. I have a four year old boy who can already try to manipulate his mother and me, but if we just ignore his unwanted behaivor he will stop doing it. I can see where this is effective in the classroom as well. You can ignore it to some extent before it gets too much out of hand. I can't wait to try all of these ideas and things out in my own classroom, someday.
