Friday, March 5th





Finally Friday. Today was my last day with my first placement. I was a little sad to be leaving the 7th graders, but I am looking forward to going to the 8th grade as well. Today was the Reward day so we just did a little fun activity in the morning classes so it wouldn't get things out off balance for my ST when he started back on Monday. In the reading this week, I learned some interesting things. The Love and logic reading was interesting. I also thought the using thinking words instead of fighting words. And give some control by giving some away, by allowing choices. I use these with our son as well. I give him a choice of two things, both of which result in my desired outcome. It works most of the time. I want to try these in the classroom as well.
